Maridynes initial offering is a product
trio designed to be the core elements of an independent energy system. Power arrives as electrical current of
unknown impedance. The load impedance
matcher finds the optimum impedance for the input source to maximize energy
gathered.
Power is used in ac form as well as dc
form. The inverter and dc dimmer offer
controlled power in either of these forms.
Finally, when under way, ships batteries are charged and evaluated for wear. A flag is set if a problem is detected.

These are the subcomponents developed by
Maridyne to build the larger systems used in the turn-key products. Most of the subcomponents fall into the
categories of switching and linear power supplies, which are given the codes SW
and L. This code appears first in the
part number. Second code tells what
type of output the power supply has.
This code is either DC or AC.
The third code refers to the complexity of the topology. PS is a single transistor converter, like a
boost buck or flyback converter. PFC is
a power factor corrected preregulator.
HB is an H bridge configuration.
The
next digit is the voltage inversion bit, as in the flyback configuration.
The
next digit is the output reference bit.
A 0 here indicates that the output is referenced to the negative
supply. A 1 indicates that the output
is referenced to the positive supply.
